Services We Offer
Career Talks and Meeting with Employers events provide opportunities for Employers to share with you what they have learnt in their personal career journeys to provide you with valuable insights on labor markets for specific sectors and what qualities employers are looking for.
Youth Career or Peer Mentoring
Youth Career or Peer Mentoring connects you with Mentors to help you reach your career goals through support, mentoring, and constructive advice. Mentors offer labor market information as well as academic and career guidance.
Individual Employment Assistance
YEN Facilitators can help you with career exploration, job search guidance, and job application assistance.
If you need help choosing a career or looking for a job, YEN can help prepare you to:
- Identify your individual strengths and potential career opportunities
- Develop your understanding of current labor market trends
- Assess work readiness skills
- Build your self-awareness and self-confidence
- Plan your career pathway
- Enhance your motivation and engagement
To be eligible for these services, you must be between 15-30 years of age and be one of the following:
- Permanent Resident
- Convention Refugee
- Protected Person
- Live-in Caregiver
