The Career Mentoring for SUCCESS Program will bridge you to career success by providing you with the information you need in your field of expertise. Your mentor will not find you a job, but they will provide you with information, support, and guidance to jumpstart your professional career in Canada. You will expand your knowledge about the key resources of your profession, the specific pathways to credential assessment, how to upgrade your education, and how to increase your opportunities to access the "hidden" job market.

The Career Mentoring for SUCCESS Program is designed to adapt to and meet the needs of busy professionals and newcomer immigrants. We offer choices for one-to-one mentoring and group mentoring. Group mentoring is a popular approach as immigrants have the opportunity to make lifelong friends with other immigrants who are in the same profession and are on a similar journey. This program is a FREE program for all eligible immigrants and refugees. The Career Mentoring for SUCCESS Program links practicing local professionals with new immigrants in the following fields:

  • Business and Financial Services
  • Engineering
  • Information Technology
  • Nursing and Healthcare
  • Customer Service and Sales
  • And many other professions
