Pet a snake? You can do it safely at the Exotic Reptile Show at Richmond Nature Park. My family and I learned all about reptiles like snakes, lizards and geckos. I was a bit nervous but I am not so afraid of reptiles now. The West Coast Society for the Protection and Conservation of reptiles were at the show to provide us with good information. I never thought I would hold a reptile or even pet a snake. You just have to be careful to know what is safe and what is not. There are so many events around Richmond to learn new things and have some fun too!
