On June 22, 2019 from 11am-2pm a group of Arabic speaking participants celebrated the start of summer with Park Play Palooza the annual kick-off event for kids at Francis Park in the city of Surrey. The clients learnt about the transit system and were able to read a bus schedule and check for the next bus. It was a wonderful day for both kids and parents. Kids enjoyed participating in several activities and games such as rock wall climbing and the inflatable castle. Clients also enjoyed meeting other community members in an atmosphere filled with live music, a dazzling magic show, a Hawaiian performance and a prize draw. A few lucky family members left the event happily with their prizes and unforgettable memories of a nice summery day.
