A Burnaby Village Museum tour was truly an amazing experience for newcomers. On a pleasant summer day, a group of newcomers took the bus heading to the Burnaby Village Museum, formerly known as the Heritage Village. It is an open-air museum in Burnaby, BC with a reconstructed 1920s village, 31 full-scale buildings and spanning 10 acres of land. It also has costumed staff demonstrating traditional trades. This was the first time they explored this historical museum with many memorable moments to discover the local culture and history in an enjoyable environment. There were many interesting spots like Burnaby Lake General Store, the Burnaby Post, and the Vorce Tram Station. It was fascinating to learn how local people lived in the past. One of the delightful experience was to ride on the carousel for the first time in their lives.
