Spotlight on John: Front Desk and Event Volunteer Extraordinaire!

John shared that he feels honoured to volunteer as a Front Desk Volunteer and at special events.  He and his family arrived in Canada in the Fall of 2014 and started volunteering for ISIP right away.  At last year’s Champions of SUCCESS event he won a stuffed animal and he gave it to his daughter.  John says that she sleeps with it every night.  His daughter often joins him when he volunteers at special events and the whole family enjoys learning about their community and tries to learn as much as they can about Canadian culture.  John says that volunteering makes them confident that they will succeed in their new home.
