This year, 114 active volunteers contributed their time and skills to support Surrey-Delta S.U.C.C.E.S.S. programs in diverse roles such as Career Mentors, Front Desk Assistants, LINC Language Class Support, Workshop Assistants, Events Assistants, Family Literacy Program Support, Better at Home Program and Fleetwood’s Seniors’ Group Support. In 2019 our volunteers spoke 22 different languages and contributed over 2498+ hours.
Our “Volunteers are Stars” Open House celebration took place at our main office location in Surrey, and we had an informal volunteer recognition format where volunteers were encouraged to visit different classrooms to explore and learn more about our programming, and enjoy different activities such as our wall of appreciation, a caricaturist, a fun photo booth and sample some goodies. We thank all of our volunteers for their amazing contributions to our services and programs!
