We recently attended a Family Day event in Richmond and we enjoyed it very much. It’s really hard to adjust to a new country and we have faced every single challenge whether it is upgrading our education or finding employment. However with the help of the Immigrant Settlement and Integration Program, we were able to figure out what to do- even registering my son in school. I am so glad we were able to meet other newcomers who share the same story as us. My son is always eager to attend the events organized by SUCCESS because he know he will have the opportunity play games and win prizes and its always exciting to learn new things. It was great to learn about volunteer opportunities and we have volunteered for exciting events in Richmond such as Vaisakhi and Diwali.
