I love cycling and the POCO Grand Prix was a new experience for me that made me love cycling even more! They call it criterium racing(several laps around a closed circuit) which means it is almost as exciting for the spectators as it is for those who are cycling because you can watch more. Cheering on our favorite racers was thrilling. Both men and women competed. They even had a mini race track for kids. Volunteering for this event was so much fun. I had an opportunity to volunteer with people who I had met volunteering for other events. One of the perks of volunteering is that we got to wear t-shirts that made us feel like we were part of a team. We are allowed to keep the t-shirts and they are great souvenirs to remind us of that special day.
