Our Richmond Office organized 20 volunteers to participate at the Minoru Residence Richmond to celebrate Chinese Mid-Autumn-Festival together with the residents. This was the first time we went to the residence to host an event, and it was really fun for both volunteers and the residents. There were more than 30 seniors participating in this event.
Volunteers lead the singing of some traditional Chinese songs. These songs brought back good old memories for the seniors. We also organized a musical circle interactive game with the participants who enjoyed a great time with the volunteers together. We saw a lot of smiling faces and clapping hands during the event. Every resident, family member, volunteer and staff had a great time!
