I have heard about Granville Island since I came to Canada 1 year ago but I did not have a chance to go. People always say how interesting and how lively it is. My teen daughters keep on asking me to bring them there. She wanted to watch the live performance and demonstration. I was able to visit the lovely Granville Island with two Syrian families in a rainy Saturday afternoon. The market was my favourite. I was able to find so many fresh produce and bread in the market. The deli store I found even carried pickle my mom used to make when I was little. I bought some and brought back lots of childhood memory.
