On a sunny summer day, the Coquitlam-Burke Mountain MLA Joan Isaacs visited a LINC 4 class at SUCCESS Tri-Cities office to enrich their conversations on government and citizenship. The students had an opportunity to meet and experience the friendliness and accessibility of their district representative. Joan Isaacs discussed topics such as how she came to be an MLA, her duties as an elected official, how her office can help residents and how government works. The MLA was impressed with the students’ level of interest in the political system and congratulated the class and their teacher for doing a great job.
